Dakota Blonde!

Last weekend at our Colorado guest ranch we had the privilege of being entertained by the melodies of Dakota Blonde!  They are an amazing and extremely talented group of musicians who join us at our family guest ranch for a few days and give a couple wonderful concerts!  Dakota Blonde is not only an amazing group of musicians but they are also the kind of people that everyone wants to know.  They have become members of our dude ranch family and an integral part of our dude ranch season.  The guest ranch vacations we offer in September would not be the same without Dakota Blonde!

People come from near and far to our family guest ranch to hear the tunes of Dakota Blonde!  Typically the last week of a dude ranch’s season is pretty slow as they wind things down, but Dakota Blonde enables us to go out with a bang! Last week at the second concert we packed the Frontier Lodge full!  Some guests come for just the concert, some for dinner and a concert and some stay for the whole week!  When you combine a dude ranch vacation at TRR with the music of Dakota Blonde, you have a combination that is outstanding!  Just picture a horseback ride on a winding mountain trail through brilliant golden Aspen trees as the cool breeze hums through the leaves the sun warms your back.  Then, sitting next to a crackling fire with hot apple cider and your feet up as Dakota Blonde sings South Dakota Afternoon.  I think of one word, heavenly!

Last week at both concerts my niece Harlie sang a couple songs with the group.  Harlie really enjoys singing and singing for others so this opportunity was such a treat for her!  Thank you Dakota Blonde!
