They sent us on our way as we left for a ride and welcomed us back on our return. They are a strikingly beautiful pair and add much to the sheer delight of being at Tarryall. The growing season sounds a little backwards compared to what I am used to. I do miss the gardens that I grew up with, but I would not trade living in this little part of heaven for anything. Speaking of blueberries, my dad would bring home the whole back end of a pickup truck filled with boxes of blueberries, when I was a kid. He would drive up into Canada and pick them. I have just recently started using more fresh herbs and love it. I was really never taught much in that area but I am learning. Maybe someday I can grow some herbs of my own. Cookbook news.............. Drum roll please........ YES!!! We are making a revised second edition that will be out in June. It will have a good number of the old ones as well as plenty new ones. Update some pictures. Yes, we will be working hard on that the next couple of months.Do you have any suggestions of what you might like to see in the cookbook?
