We have received many phones calls, emails, Facebook messages and tweets about the Colorado wildfires.  Many concerned guests and friends have asked how or if the fires have affected the dude ranch vacations we offer.  We are very thankful for all the thoughts, prayers and concern for our family, staff, horses and the ranch!  It means so much to have friends from around the world checking in to see how we are doing and offering to help when there is a need.  Thankfully, our Colorado dude ranch is safe from the fires and clear of smoke!  The dude ranch vacations we offer have not been affected in any way.  We are still offering all horseback rides, activities, cookouts, fishing, hiking, fun and adventure of Colorado and the West!

This past week was another full week of guests and activities!  The Rough Rider’s and Broncobuster’s counselors had a great group of kiddos this week and a lot of fun!  In the picture is Frankie on Cisco.  I was talking to Frankie this morning at breakfast and he said he couldn’t wait to ride Cisco today!  Such a cute kid!  The week was also filled with half-day rides, all-day rides, line dancing, the Ranch Rodeo, team penning, trap shooting, swimming, sand volleyball and much more.  It was just another week at our dude ranch having fun and enjoying the beauty of Colorado!

We are very thankful to be so blessed and unaffected by the wildfires in Colorado right now, but we do ask everyone to keep the firefighters, forest service and all those affected by these devastating fires in your thoughts and prayers!  There is a long road of rebuilding and recovery ahead for a lot of Colorado residents.  Let’s show our support in whatever way we can!
