This past week at our dude ranch we had a senior class visit to experience a Colorado dude ranch vacation for their senior class trip.  It was great to have the San Jacinto Christian Academy senior class at our Colorado dude ranch to ride the trails, chase cows, shoot guns, swim in the pool and enjoy the mountains of Colorado!  Many students commented on what a great time they had experiencing a taste of a Colorado dude ranch vacation and all a dude ranch has to offer.  A few students even mentioned they were planning on having a class reunion at our dude ranch in the near future.  The assistant principle at San Jacinto that was a chaperon for the senior class trip said the students didn’t want to leave.  They were having so much fun!

We are thrilled the seniors had a great time and appreciate all their kind words.  The senior class at San Jacinto is a great group of young people and all of us at Tarryall River Ranch thoroughly enjoyed having them in our corner of the West!  I think they were all a little sore after the first horseback ride, but that sure didn’t slow them down!  They were out to experience every activity to the fullest.  If I asked the students what their favorite activity was while they were at our Colorado dude ranch, I am almost sure they all would say the line dancing.

These students were all excited about line dancing and caught on so quickly!  I have never seen a group more in unison and pick up on the line dances more quickly than these young people.  They were tearing up the dance floor in no time while laughing and having a really good time!  They even showed us a few dances of their own.  We probably won’t be adding the dances they taught us to our dance nights but the staff sure enjoyed learning some new moves!
