One of the most anticipated activities offered at our Colorado dude ranch is the dancing! We offer many different types of Western dancing to our guest visiting on dude ranch vacations. There is line dancing, barn dancing, swing dancing and of course some silly dances like “The Chicken Dance”! Two nights out of the week we clear all the furniture out of the Frontier Lodge and tear up the dance floor! These evenings at our dude ranch are always great fun and fill the Frontier Lodge with a lot of joy and laughter.
Children, adults and everyone in between is sure to find a dance they enjoy. From a waltz to the Cotton Eye Joe and the Hokey Pokey, there is fun awaiting you on the Tarryall River Ranch dance floor! Children especially have the time of their lives learning the Western dances and watching our dude ranch staff shuffling across the floor. I would confidently say our dance nights are their favorite evening activity! Even those “really cool” teens have fun and truly enjoy The Boot Scootin’ Boogie, Salty Dog Rag and other great dances. Our staff really loves these evenings as well and their excitement has a way of rubbing off on our guests and providing them with a great experience!

There’s no better way to work off those scrumptious meals that Bridget makes, then to boot scoot it on down to Frontier Lodge for some Line/Swing/Barn dancing. Although only 2 nights are reserved for dancing…we wished there was Western dancing at TRR EVERY NIGHT! Can you work on that Kody? We sure miss The Ranch and all the good people who make TRR so special…until we meet again.

The ENTIRE Tesch family is absolutely amazing. My family was greated with warm genuine smiles that continued throughout the week. It was very apparent that the Tesch family members are passionate about caring for their guests. I spoke with many ranches prior to speaking with Kody Tesch. I could tell that Kody puts a lot of pride into his work at TRR. His explainations to my questions were detailed and presented in a very professional yet friendly mannor. Immediately I booked our Colorado Ranch experience with the Tarryall River Ranch.
It was the best decision!
Kelvin was the first Tesch family member we met as he transported us from the airport to his familys’ ranch .He was very engaging in conversation and entertained us with stories of Colorado history. As soon as we stepped foot on TRR soil, my husband commented, ” Wow, this is clearly the most perfect place to experience ranch life”. My 3 adult children were extremely quick to agree.
Klaton teaching line/swing/barn dancing steps in the evening, Kelvin getting us mounted on our horses for incredible sceenic rides, Bridget cooking all our meals to perfection, white water rafting with Kody; Lisa and Kevin overseeing every last detail with an obvious passion for their work….YES, it was without a doubt “THE MOST PERFECT PLACE TO EXPERIENCE RANCH LIFE”.
The Tesch family treats all of their guests like welcomed family. We look forward to revisiting TRR.
